We are looking for a kind energetic fun loving au pair to join our family from mid-September 2008 and to stay with us for at least 9 months. We live in Hammersmith London very close to a lovely park. You would have your own large room on the top floor with your own Tv video and wireless internet access sharing a bathroom with the children. We live within 10 minutes walk of four underground stations and there is fast access to the centre of London from here. There are a number of good English language schools within a short walk of here. There are many au pairs in this area and it should be possible to make friends easily. We have two bright and bouncy children a boy aged 6 and a girl who is nearly 3. Both of us work Iain (dad) is a hospital doctor and works long hours. Geraldine (mum) works 3-4 days per week. The children are both at school nursery school both 5 minutes walk from our house. As our au pair you would work up to 25 hours per week plus 2 to 3 evenings a week babysitting. The main duties will be as follows Taking the children to school nursery school on 2-3 mornings per week Picking them up from school nursery school on 3-4 afternoons and looking after them until we get home from work including taking them to the park and other after school activities doing homework with them preparing their evening meal Looking after the children throughout the day for some days during school holidays if possible Light housework such as clearing up after meals emptying the dishwasher hanging out laundry to dry ironing and keeping the childrens rooms tidy We have a cleaner to do the heavier cleaning In return for this we are offering a room all your meals £65 per week pocket money We are looking for someone with good English a confident and flexible attitude a non-smoker and above all someone who really enjoys looking after energetic children and creating a happy safe environment for them.
