Our services include reviewing, building and analysis of financial models. Our team brings specialist expertise and best practice methodologies to the process of developing complex models - to deliver real solutions by translating complex business situations into models which capture the drivers of value and risk. Our services can be broadly classified as: Business Modelling, which includes: o Transaction modelling - modelling transactions such as fund raising, valuations, M&A and option appraisals o Operational modelling - modelling business operational requirements such as budgeting & forecasting, financial reporting, consolidation tools, etc Data Analytics - the design, implementation or analysis of data-oriented structures to facilitate efficient calculation, analysis, extraction, manipulation or processing of data Risk Modelling - the use of statistical & econometric techniques and risk methodologies to quantify risk, in order to support decision making We are looking for a Manager in either of the following areas: Business Modelling & Data Analytics Business Modelling & Risk Modelling Responsibilities The role will require the Manger to manage clients, staff and deliverables on Business Modelling and ether Risk Modelling or Data Analytics engagements. The Manger will also be responsible for developing and promoting our capabilities. This includes creating awareness (both internally and externally) and pursuing and converting opportunities. The Individual You will need to have extensive prior experience in business modelling and either risk modelling or data modelling as well as demonstrable experience in team leadership and team management in a consulting / advisory environment. You will need to be a self-motivated and innovative individual with the following skills and experience: Experience in Business Modelling Advanced Excel and VBA Understands financial and accounting concepts Proven track record for converting opportunities The ability to solve complex technical problems within a short time frame The ability to quickly assimilate and apply new techniques and knowledge The flexibility to work in a high pressure environment at times outside of normal hours Consultancy or professional services background is beneficial (big 4 or equivalent) And either: Experience in Data Analytics Experience with either Access or SQL Or: Experience in Risk Modelling Experience with C++ / SQL / Visual Basic Knowledge of capital market products and key concepts of derivative instrument pricing and risk measurement Familiarity with statistical and numerical techniques Knowledge of regulatory requirements is beneficial (e.g. Basel II and Ias 39) Greythorn Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy....
