Fixed Income IT group is a front office focused group delivering development solutions for internal traders. A requirement has emerged within the group for a talented developer to work on a Front office application development in C# of an in house trade capture platform. The trade capture platform is used for the capture of bonds and interest rate derivative products. The platform has a C# front end and Java middle tier with close integration between client and server developers. New technology is pushed with use of WPF and .net 3.0 in one of the blotters. The main duties will be focused around C# client development of the trade capture platform. The team works to a 2-3 week release cycle to be reactive to business requirement with larger pieces of development work being carried out out of cycle. Currently a large re-Architecture of the current blotters is in progress with development into a new ticket framework just starting. The successful candidate will have a proven record in C# development, probably from a C++ background. They will have strong WPF and .NET development experience in addition to business exposure within Fixed Income front office. They will also have a very strong academic profile with a relevant degree from a Russell group University.
