Openings in USEPA's National Center for Environmental Economics , Washington, DC The USEPA's National Center for Environmental Economics (NCEE) is accepting applications for permanent Economist positions, temporary (1-2 year) Post Docs, and Visiting Faculty positions. We anticipate filling multiple positions. NCEE is EPA's center of expertise for cutting-edge research and analysis in environmental economics ( www.epa.gov/economics ). Applicants seeking to fill permanent Economist and temporary Post Doc positions should have completed a Ph.D. in economics no later than August 2009. We also welcome applications from mid-career Economists with a Ph.D. in Economics and relevant experience. The Visiting Faculty position offers academics an opportunity to work at NCEE for a temporary period of time (9-12 months). Benefit-cost analysis skills and research experience in environmental, natural resource, agricultural, or related applied microeconomic fields are required. We particularly welcome individuals with experience in: integrated physical science and economic modeling; treatment of uncertainty and decision science methods; computable general equilibrium modeling; econometrics; and valuation of the economic benefits of protecting human health and ecological services. Salaries for all positions are competitive. U.S. citizenship is required for the Permanent and temporary Post Doc positions. U.S. citizenship is not required for the Visiting Faculty position.
