The Prospect of Whitby is the oldest pub on the Thames riverside and one of the most famous pubs in London. The original pub was built in 1520 the current building dates from the 18th Century. The core menu consists of traditional pub fayre but we also cater for tour groups private and corporate functions ranging from simple buffets to gourmet meals. We are currently developing the business further and have an immediate need for an assistant to our current Head Chef who has been part of the business for the last 12 years. Main duties will be to assist the Head Chef but you should also be able to cover the Head Chef during breaks and time off.
