Immediately requirements are now for Installation & Commissioning Engineers, Candidates must have significant understanding and working knowledge of Transmission Networks Fundamentals and principles including Radio (Siae), RF, Microwave, PDH, SDH systems (2 mbit) Lead a team of 2 to 4 engineers on Installation and Commissioning of Microwave & Radio Based Communication systems. Assistance with preparation and mustering of materials for installation tasks. Rigging and testing of associated feeders and antennae Installation & termination of 2mbit cables, PDH, SDH microwave systems and multiplexers 1st & 2nd level fault finding Cross Connection and circuit routing BER testing of installed links Completion of pre and post installation/commissioning audit and link configuration & associated documentation Experience: Radio, (Siae) RF and Microwave Systems knowledge 4 years Installation, Commissioning and Rigging Experience Climbing Certification Rigging Certification Tower rescue certification Rooftop access certification First aid at Height Can work to and meet deadlines Map and Compass skills Desirable IRATA Certification NVQ level 2 in antenna and feeder installation The client will supply calibrated tools and commissioning phone with appropriate engineering software.
