The candidate will have the opportunity to assist the It Manager on projects thus gaining experience in the administrative side of It Project Management. This will involve learning to do minutes updating specifications understanding requirements and maintaining the flow of information between project parties. Information Management is important as it allows data to be located quickly and precisely. The post holder will learn the processes of which the information flows and how it is organised. Additional sites will become a responsibility as competence and confidence grows. In time the It Assistant will work across all sites. As skills progress interaction with the infrastructure servers will be given. This will not happen right away. This post is well suited to a Junior person who is happy to spend at least a year learning by doing. The right candidate may be able to become more independent and work alone in time.
