Director of Technology Department: RoiLife, a Lifetime Digital Company Location: San Francisco, CA POSITION OBJECTIVE RoiLife, a Lifetime Digital company, is looking for a Director of Technology to manage the rollout and growth of this hot Korean gaming property as it lands in the U.S. Candidates for this role are experienced technology architects with a history of designing, building, and integrating robust websites in a highly trafficked consumer web environment. Experience includes Data Center Management, Team Leadership, and with hands-on skills with ASP, SQL Server and Flash. PHP and MySQL are a plus. Candidate must be a fluent Korean speaker, and be able to write technical specs in Korean. This individual will report primarily to the head of RoiLife but will have an ongoing reporting relationship with the VP of Digital Media Technology. This individual will work closely with the Lifetime Games Studio - Korea to create detailed game specifications and manage all 3rd party integrations with the RoiLife site, including advertising, analytics, and other Lifetime Digital properties. Travel to Korea will be required 2-3 times a year. In addition, this individual will oversee the rollout and ongoing growth of the RoiLife website in the U.S. datacenter. POSITION REQUIREMENTS  Must speak and write fluent Korean and be willing to travel to Korea 2-3 times a year.  Experience in Datacenter management, with an understanding of hardware and networking issues involved in good datacenter practices.  Strong Knowledgebase of games of all formats.  Individual should be on the edge of current trends in the Online and Interactive gaming space and be able to evaluate and evangelize appropriate and applicable technologies to partnering business units.  Collaborate with peers at Lifetime Digital Media group and other areas in the strategic and creative direction of RoiLife’s web properties.  Must have proven skills and experience w/advanced framework design for new and existing systems.  Must have significant technical leadership and be experienced in external vendor negotiations and management of external development partners.  Must have excellent project management skills and experience.  Must have proven track record of application integration and experience in working with 3rd party developers in the delivery of commissioned code.  Abide by company standards and lead by excellence in the areas of code design, source code control, software life-cycle management, documentation, implementation, testing and production release of all software projects related to the environment.  Ability to work independently within very strict deadlines.
