Senior Management Accountant required for a challenging management accounts role. You will be working under the financial director with your own team of two people. You will manage the management accounts team as well as preparing management accounts for the business unit. M&E Commercial Manager - ã300M Development Our client is a leading construction company operating throughout the UK, Europe, America and Australia. With a group turnover in excess of ã8billion and nearly 4000 staff they are a massive contractor with a stable future. This role is to work on a prestigious ã300m development in the heart of Manchester. You will be taking care of all the mechanical and electrical elements of this massive 200 acre site. Other prestigious projects this contractor has worked on include the Scottish Parliament, Paddington and the Joint Hospitals. Role: You will be working with the PM team to complete the first phase of this massive build. The role will require you to undertake all commercial actions related to the project, get involved with the procurement and maintain reports on the trade packages. Other duties include: â¢Develop procurement strategies, â¢Lead tender processes, â¢Prepare all legal contracts, â¢Provide interim valuations, â¢Cost reporting and forecasting, and â¢Resolution of final accounts. Requirements: We are looking for someone who has experience of commercial management of large scale projects and has the necessary knowledge of contract procedures and preparation. You will also have experience in leading and developing staff. You should be computer literate, ideally degree qualified and a member of relevant organisations. You should also have worked predominantly in the mechanical and electrical building services sector as either a commercial manager/managing quantity surveyor/senior quantity surveyor.
