SUPPLIER QUALITY MANAGER POWER PLANT ENGINEERING STUTTGART Due to the present boom in the power station market, an opportunity has now arisen for a Supplier Quality Manager to join this global company based in Stuttgart. Our client is part of the world leader in energy infrastructure and transport, specializing in the businesses of steam generator/ firing technology as well as environmental protection. As the Supplier Quality Manager you will be in charge of Product Quality and On-Time Delivery of the complete goods within a project team based on a given budget. You will serve as the interface with suppliers for all aspects of QA/QC and the production/delivery schedule. You will perform the Kick-Off Meeting with suppliers following interventions, e.g. QA/QC, expediting, Final Inspection, Pre-Shipment Inspection for example based on continuous planning of the activities. Furthermore you will review Progress Reports received from Suppliers and assess their Quality Management System. You will also produce monthly status reports to the Project Team. You will act as the interface to suppliers for all aspects of QA/QC and production/delivery schedule. You will have close coordination with Engineering and Project Management Team and as the interface with the Inspection Coordinator to organize and manage third party inspection support. You will be responsible for the professional and cost efficient management of all project related supplier monitoring activities for a dedicated project assigned. In addition you will create and maintain a team culture as a basis for successful and motivated teamwork. Successful candidates will hold a Mechanical Degree or have an equivalent technical background. Competency training such as AWS, CSWIP, Nace, ASNT, PCN, IEE or equivalent is required for this role.
