PUBLIC HEALTH ENGINEER TO WORK IN DUBAI OFFICE Our client is a multi national consultancy with offices allover the world. The main international centres are located in China, Hong Kong, India, SE Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Southern Africa They are looking for a Public Health Engineer for their Dubai office that has experience in working in Dubai or the Middle East. You will manage and carry out sustainability strategies, energy strategies and building appraisals for projects throughout the construction life cycle with particular emphasis on the planning stage. The ideal candidate will have experience in undertaking LEED assessments, as well as experience in managing and delivering one or more of the following appraisal methods; BREEAM/Codes or CEEQUAL. You should have a working knowledge of the Middle East, in particular Dubai and the wider Uae. There will be an interface with existing teams of Master planners, Designers, M&E, and Buildings Services engineers, across the rest of the organisation. A knowledge of and interest in international developments in environment /sustainable development standards and policy is important and an ability to conduct research and analysis to support both policy and technical work. You should be confident in their ability to manage projects including monitoring the progress of work in relation to deadlines (milestones) and also working with clients to bring the project to a conclusion on time and on budget. There is also a business development aspect to this role and you will need to prepare and write proposals and marketing material.
