Are you an experienced Foundation Stage Teacher looking for a temporary 2 term contract to start in January 2009? If Yes we have just the job for you A lovely four form entry primary school are looking to appoint an experienced Nursery Teacher for 2 terms starting January 2009 until July 2009. The school has over 650 children and over 100 staff that work here. The majority of lessons take place in the childrens classrooms but there are many times when the outdoor environment is used such as for Pe and art. Year 5 have the opportunity to go swimming and Year 6 undertake sailing lessons at Fairlop Waters. The school is very lucky to have 2 halls that are used for plays assemblies and talks as well as Pe and different activities. The Ict room stores most of there computers. Every class has an hour of Ict once a week in there modern Ict suite. In all the school has about 30 computers in the Ict room with at least 1 computer in each classroom. The school has recently installed whiteboards in Years 2 3 5 and 6. They have had a big impact on pupils enjoyment of lessons and most children find them very interesting and easier to read. The school has a fantastic library loaded with books and even has a part-time librarian. From Year 3 onwards children go to the library to borrow one fiction and one non-fiction book.
